So Where To Adventures? MUIZENBERG
South of Cape Town one will find Muizenberg a surfing suburb where things are pretty chilled and laid back !
Today however things were a little bit more hectic as surfers were made to leave the sea and the locals and fisherman alike were hard at work. When I asked what was happening a local told me it was the geelbek run - translated yellow tail fish which run between November and March !
Normally NO fishing is allowed at surfers corner except as I learnt today when the geelbek are there ! I also learnt that if locals help the fisherman they often get free yellow tail. So a team effort is involved.
